In-patient facility

The Leprosy Mission Community Hospital Shahdara is a 20 bedded Leprosy focussed hospital. Hospital provides quality care to persons affected by leprosy. Out of the total beds available, 18 beds are exclusively reserved for the persons affected by leprosy. The hospital is registered with the Directorate General of Health Services Government of Delhi with Registration No: DGHS/NH/781

In-patients services are available for persons affected by Leprosy for:

• Treatment and management of complicated ulcers
• Treatment and management of Leprosy reactions
• Treatment and management of Neuritis
• Correction of Various deformities due to Leprosy by Reconstructive Surgery (RCS)
• Cataract Operation
• Other Eye related problems

Daycare facility for Persons affected by leprosy is also available for:

• Customised Fabrication of the Micro Cellular Rubber Footwear (MCR)
• Screening of Leprosy
• Management of the reactions
• Customized fabrication of the Splints and Orthosis
• Minor surgery and dressings of simple ulcers
• Minor dermatology procedure
• Skin Biopsy
• Minor eye surgeries
